Classroom Life,
Cool Internet Finds Big Huge Labs is a cool website to use to create different objects or looks with your pictures. In my opinion, one of the coolest tools on big hugh labs, is the Palette Generator. You upload the picture that you have chosen to the website, and use the generator. It tells you the colors that are in your photo.

I have seen through many different websites, that the Warholizer tool has become very popular. So you don’t know how, or don’t want to take the time to actually create one. This website has it.

The website has many many more different tools that you can use to create effects to your pictures.

Classroom Life Wow I cant believe its the end of the year already, it came so fast. I have been in Web Design the whole year, starting with Web Design 1 then ending with Web Design 2 and I honestly loved it. Last year this time when I put Web Design down on my schedule just to fill a spot, I had no clue about a web site and what all it takes to make one. I really thought it would be boring, pointless and easy. But when I got here I soon found out that it was definately none of the above. Web Design started out very challenging for me and I hated it, you had to pay attention to every little detail, it was very frustrating. But once I got the little things down, and I was showed a bunch of shortcuts and DREAMWEAVER! it became a piece of cake and lots of fun. I realized that with the things you learn in Web Design, you can really do some cool and interesting things to a Web site. I have the most respect for someone who has the patience to sit down and make one. After learning the things I know now, i will probably use some of those things in the future just for fun or something, but trust me I will NEVER look at another Web site the same EVER again.

Classroom Life This last semester in Wed design II we have been working out of “the web collection revealed” book. In this book there are chapters with different work to be done on macromedia Dreamweaver 8. Adobe Dreamweaver (formerly Macromedia Dreamweaver) is a web development application originally created by Macromedia, and is now developed by Adobe Systems, who acquired Macromedia in 2005. We work on making a web site for a spa called the striped umbrella, and all its links. Each chapter gives you step by step instructions on what to do and how to do it. We will soon take the Certification Exam for Dreamweaver and hopefully by the end of this class we will be certified in this field. When I leave this class I will be skilled in making my own websites by scratch and also editing web sites.

What's on my mind These words keep sticking in my head everyday as I walk my final days down the halls of Citrus High School. Some people are more than happy to leave this place, and then others [like me] are not so happy. But I have to take the positive in perspective…I have learned and grown so much. Not to mention made so many friends and great memories. I think that my web design class will help me a lot in my future, also. I’ve learned everything from the ground up and all the new tricks. I discovered some awesome sites that help with any kind of designing. I learned about new software that can help me accomplish certain tasks without too much effort, how to manipulate images into something new and how to use different web applications for cool effects. All and all I do believe these will be some of the best days of my life.

Cool Internet Finds Feeling slightly unacknowledged with a personal D.I.Y. operation? Instructables.com is the place to go. It has an multitudinous variety of “how to” videos and photos. It has vivid instructions on anything ranging from agriculture to geeky tech. I don’t know about you, but I think an instructable for a catapult that shoots thumb tacks at unsuspecting victims is pretty impressive…

Cool Internet Finds I would have to say one of my favorite sites to visit when I am bored, is the Urban Dictionary. You can look up any word and see what other people think it means. Urban Dictionary is 100% user maintained. There has been 3,956,135 definitions written since the creation of the site in 1999. Urban dictionary is the slang dictionary that we wrote.

Classroom Life If web 1 was too much coding to remember and too many formatting problems for you to handle, hang in there and take web design 2. We are using a program called dreamweaver in this class. Using this program you get an interface familiar to anyone who has used a program such as microsoft word where symbols represent actions. Along with a book guiding the way you now have amazing possibilities without the hassle of remembering codes or worrying about formatting errors. If you can click a symbol, you can make a website. Im not gonna lie, its pretty intimidating when you start using it but as you move from lesson to lesson you become appreciative of the symbols and buttons as compared to actual code writing. Coding is still an important basis to have however as you can still go into the code and manually fix problems you may encounter. So if you feel overwhelmed in web 1, keep trying and take web 2.
Dreamweaver can be a little bit intimidating at first and its a lot easier to figure it out with some help. This site has tutorials for dreamweaver that will help you get started.

What's on my mind In the past April fools day’s there’s been many jokes that shake the world up and has everyone wondering if it’s true or not, normally they’ve all been simple and harmless But as we may all know we no longer live in the past we live in fast paced computer world. With this new world of computers we have advantages on creating new pranks that are more advanced then the Swiss spaghetti harvest and any other April fools prank that ever was. It’s called the Conficker worm. The worm is known for infecting at least 12 million computers worldwide and no one knows what the source of it is.
I think it to be one of the most creative and clever pranks I’ve ever heard of. Almost everyone uses a computer every day. So why not target every one with software that can hack your computer and take total control. I think its brilliant and the creators of this prank we’ll go down in history for sure.
Best Pranks as of 2008-

Cool Internet Finds So I was doing the final exam and looking for HTML color codes that would be kinda useful. I happend to stumble upon http://colorschemedesigner.com/ it is very cool you can pick diffrent types or color schemes from a mono color scheme to a anologic whatever that means and it gives you all the hex codes for those specific colors. It saves alot of time playing with code to try and figure out diffrent colors that go well withthe prime color. you can also adjust the contrast of all the colors to make them a darker tone or make them lighter for a cheery website. you can also preview what your site would look like with that scheme with their pre-made viewing template. Also Melito they can also make the schemes for color blind people so you see the true colors instead of orange being maroon.
So yall keep it real,
